Buzovskiy: WordPress Website Design From Scratch

One of the most common myths about WordPress CMS is that websites are slow. In addition, there is a statement that you cannot create multi-page sites. Our customer faced such myths, however, he entrusted the site development to our company and has been successfully using the web page for more than two years.

Our design partner received an order for development, but he did not deal with the technical site’s implementation, only with design. He recommended us, but the client had several objections to the WordPress CMS.

After working through the existing myths with the client, we started developing the web page. Consider what we have implemented and what were the project features.

The client is a public speaking coach. The site was needed to sell intensives. Consider the main points that our WordPress website developers have implemented:

• Form-calendar. They are used to collect leads. We have implemented this feature by developing a custom plugin. The form provides training and city types. In the table, it is convenient to set which training is in which city on which date and at what price for which date (different dates – different discounts). The same data is transferred to the “Leave a request” form. Data is easy to edit through the admin panel, including discounts. In a few minutes, you can create a training schedule for a month with discounts.
• Individual pages. Each training page is made as a separate landing page – with a separate header (without a menu of other elements so that people do not go to other pages).
• Integration with Google Sheets. All applications left on the site are automatically transferred to a Google spreadsheet. 
• Different review types. Each feedback format has its template. It is convenient to reuse them in different training sessions. For example, reviews from Facebook, Google are displayed on the site, video reviews are introduced, and reviews of corporate companies.

In addition, the form plugin was improved for different CRMs and minor improvements were made.

The customer was completely satisfied with the site implementation. The web page looks attractive, loads quickly, and is convenient for both users and administrators. In parallel with the development, we carried out optimization. That is, we compressed pictures, chose light formats, used lazy loading, correctly structured the CSS code, etc. Buzovskiy is a functional site that works quickly even after several years!
