WordPress is an open-source CMS platform that allows us to create functional sites for various niches. Frag Die Apotheke is a service where users can get a free consultation from a pharmacist. Let’s consider what we implemented in this project and how user-friendly the site turned out to be.

This site is a collection of useful information and services. The following options are available to the user:

• Getting a consultation. You can ask questions to experts in a few clicks.
• Answers to popular questions. The site provides blocks with answers to popular questions, which are divided into categories. Thoughtful navigation simplifies the search for the user.
• Analysis online. If you are interested in skin problems, you can conduct an analysis online and get a preliminary diagnosis.
• Search for pharmacies. When you need medicine, you can find pharmacies online.
• Acquaintance with experts. A page featuring consulting pharmacists has been implemented.

It was possible to achieve a convenient interface and functionality thanks to useful integrations. Let’s take a closer look at what our WordPress site development team has implemented:

• Chatbot. We integrated the Live Chat widget using a custom script. When clicking on the CTA buttons «Ask a question» or «Get a consultation» a chat window opens in the lower right corner. The user can chat with a specialist.
• Online skin analysis. When clicking on the «Start analysis» button, the user is taken to a page with a QR code. We integrated a button that takes the user to the appropriate service. By scanning the QR code with a smartphone or tablet, you can take a photo of your face and get a skin analysis (type, problems, etc.).
• Categories of questions. They are located one under the other. Each question is in a separate block. Clicking on a question takes the user to a separate page with an expanded answer.
• Search for pharmacies. Our WordPress site development team did the Google Maps integration and implemented the list. We integrated Google maps with custom code. It automatically searches for the nearest pharmacies depending on the user’s location. This increases convenience, as you can choose a pharmacy nearby or read the proposed options from the list.
• Search on the site. The integration is implemented using PHP code. The user just needs to enter search keywords to find relevant results.
• Social networks. We implemented three buttons in the footer with links to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. It is easy to go to the pages of the service on social networks.

Since services for users are free, the site functions with the support of partners and paid subscriptions. We implemented the display of partner logos in the animation form — two moving lines. The first moves from right to left, and the second moves from left to right. The developers have integrated such animations using the Slider Splide tool. In addition, the site contains thematic icons, pictures and photos. We used the webp format to download the visuals in good quality without slowing down the site.

User-friendly interface, animations, and functionality are necessary to attract visitors to the site. Our WordPress development team has built a fast site with custom features. We have used advanced technologies and the most popular plugins to achieve results. In addition, we installed the Matomo Analytics tool so that the customer can easily monitor the site’s performance. As a result, Frag Die Apotheke is an example of a fast, functional, and visually appealing site.
